A superbly carved and quilled horn spoon. The spoon is carved from cow horn and quilled in a traditional manner using the porcupine quill plaiting method. Quillwork is in red, yellow, and purple. Note the very fine curved end of the spoon. Porcupine quill-wrapped native tanned buckskin drops in matching red, yellow, and purple with yellow horsehair dangles finish the piece. Chris Ravenshead is renowned master quillworker. Non-native made.
