Olivia Tailfeathers and the Kainai Grassland Singers are an all female traditional vocal group from the Blood Tribe in Western Canada. The songs they sing extend from the hearts of their ancestors and the rhythms they play are the vibrations of the Earth they live on. This album is a fusion of the Singers' love for their traditional Blackfoot culture and the experiences they encounter in modern society.
