Deer Rawhide - Whole Hide
Whole deer rawhide that has been commercially prepared. Bleached white and nearly the same shade as hand-scraped rawhide. Very good quality. Deer rawhide is somewhat thin and is very good for small drums, as rawhide strips for quillwork and other projects. It is too thin to use for moccasin soles and too thin for most parfleche work. This is the lightest weight rawhide we have. These average about 10 square feet. We will also sell these by the 1/2 hide. We will cut them to maximize the available square footage, usually horizontally.

Elk Rawhide - Whole Hide
Whole elk rawhide that has been commercially prepared. These are excellent quality hides and are the best we can get. Elk rawhide is medium weight and is suitable for making drums, small parfleche items, and other projects. It is generally too thin for moccasin soles. These average about 20-22 square feet. Please note that these are oversize items and will incur additional shipping costs.
