French Brass Beads - Nickel

These are basically the same bead as the French Brass beads except they are nickel plated. These are non-traditional and to the best of our knowledge, there is no historical use of this bead. However, it is a very nice bead and is great for making unique chokers and breastplates. We don’t always have this bead in stock. Sold in packs of 100.

French Solid Brass Beads

These beads are very popular for making breastplates and chokers as well as many other projects. These beads are "solid" and are quite heavy for their size. While they are called "French" beads, they are generally not made in France. Why they got the name "French," we're not really sure. In any case, this is the most common metal bead used in Native American crafts. The 8mm size is most frequently used. For the 4mm size, the count is approximate.
