The Technique of North American Indian Beadwork
This book includes directions for selecting, buying, and using beading materials and examines Indian beadwork designs, their development, significance, and uses. Includes step-by-step instructions for many variations of beading techniques used in both loom and applique work, round objects, rosettes, and necklaces. To be quite honest, if you want to learn how to bead, there are better books available. What is great about this book is that there are over 100 photographs of beaded artifacts dating back to 1835. Great for getting design ideas!
