Legends of the Iroquois
Two Native American writers tell nine stories about how the world was created, about their own ancestors, animals, and nature, about the lessons of the Creator and the great Iroquois Peacemaker. These Iroquois legends embody traditional wisdom and spiritual values and connect present experience with a mythic past. They will be of interest to young people ages 8 and up.
