|Fire Polish - AB Finish
Fire polish beads are round, facetted beads for use in making chokers, breastplates, bandoleers, and other projects. They are most popular for use in making women's Plains style breastplates. The term "fire polish" actually refers to the finish on the bead and not the shape. However, in the Native American craft trade, "fire polish" always refers to round facetted beads. The "AB" designator refers to "Aurora Borealis" finish. The AB finish gives the beads an iridescent, rainbow-like effect. Note that color availability in these beads is very erratic. We try to keep a good supply on hand, but we may have trouble filling large orders for a single color. Please allow us to substitute when possible.
