Braintanning refers to a method of turning animal hides into beautiful leather for use in clothing and other articles. It is a very old traditional method which utilizes the brains of the animal in the tanning process. Braintan is sometimes referred to as "native tan." Leather made in this process is second to none. It's soft, light, and very durable.
